What It Means to Surrender in Perspective of the Awakening

Surrender can have different meanings to different people.

To some, surrender is seen as a passage into freedom, a way to stop the struggle and let go. To others, it is a weakness, a way of giving up.

Because surrender has been painted as a failing in society, it has never really been encouraged. It is thought by surrender we lose power. When in fact, it takes us into power.

Those who avoid surrender tend to be fighting with themselves or with others. If only in their ‘fight to be right.’

When there’s a fight, someone always gets hurt. And when there are casualties, no one is a winner.

To me, surrendering means to allow for change. Surrender fear, beliefs and old ways of being. This also means the beliefs we hold about the way we look, think and feel.

Surrender to Life

This isn’t about being a doormat for others to trample over. Nor is it about not standing for what is right. To surrender is to simply let go of the old ways of being or that which no longer serves, and the fear that kept us enslaved.

Humans are led by emotion and fear. For a long time, society has manipulated our emotions by giving us reasons to fight or reasons to be angry and afraid. Manufactured forms of distraction that kept us in servitude of a control system.

These distractions, and ways to keep people divided and in fear, are now getting louder because we are moving in to a new era where people are waking up.

The Precipice

As a species, we don’t like giving things up: habits, ways of being and beliefs. Even when these habits are known to be bad or wrong. We often have to go through a crisis before we will change or surrender. This is what we are now experiencing.

We have reached the precipice. Change is the only way off the mountain.

We are in times of great change. There are many layers to unpeel. One of such is surrendering the old thoughts and beliefs that kept us controlled.

When we do not have freedom of thought, we can’t tune into our higher mind. We then become little more than computers running software programmes. Freethinking should be a basic human right, yet it has been systematically removed by society.

I was talking to a friend the other week. We were discussing the current world crisis. My ideas in no way matched hers (as is often the case with my friends). After listening to my opinions and outlook, my friend told me she didn’t know how to think independently or question things. She needed to be fed information. In other words, she needed to be told what to think and believe.

This is the case with many people. Because ideas, opinions and thoughts are obtained from one place and not from observing various sources of data, the ability to question anything or formulate an original idea is stifled.

The fact my friend could see her opinions were influenced by mainstream, and weren’t really her own, shows she is in the process of ‘waking up.’

All our lives we have been fed information. How to dress. How to think. What to hate or love. Society has not encouraged us to think independently, only how to think as a majority.

There is a famous quote, by Henrick Ibsen: ‘The majority is always wrong, and the minority is rarely right.’

It reminds me of how little we really know. This world has been built on lies and illusions. Layer upon layer.

Until we can allow for independence of thought, by tuning into our higher-selves, we will continue to labour under false illusions.

When we regurgitate what we have seen on the news and in the papers, we might think ‘we are in the know.’ But it is little more than intentional programming. Hidden under the veil of an ‘educated opinion.’

Freethinking is Freedom

We have got more chance of getting to the truth by surrendering to the voice of our higher-self than we have from listening to mainstream narratives.

Inside we hold the answers to the universe, but we have not been shown how to gain access. We are taught to trust only the narrative of authority, and not the truth within.

The simple way to break free is to surrender the need to be part of the collective mind.

Have trust in the one. Trust in ourselves.

What it means to surrender is to let go of everything we thought we knew, let go of programmes and thoughts that have been implanted. Believe in our own power to create the world we want to live in.

Instead of fight for what we think is right. Surrender to what we feel is right. Lead with love and surrender the fear.

SURRENDER! CREATE! BE!

As a side note: if you are feeling particularly strong negative emotion around your solar plexus, know that it is very likely a pooling of the mass hysteria being stoked up, mixed in with your own apprehensions. A quick way to block it is to simply place your hand over the space you feel the emotions. This post also has ways to deal with the overwhelm of fear that many Empaths are currently experiencing.

THE GRIEF OF LETTING GO AND CREATING THE NEW

Times are changing. Even the most unaware are aware of this. We are in times of both creation but also destruction. We are in times of grief and surrender.

The old world has gone. Never to return.

Transitions are difficult. We have been thrust upon a new path. For some, this will be a path of awakening, which will create great confusion, and for others it is a realization that the life we knew is gone for ever.

The old world celebrated and worshipped attractiveness and beauty, wealth and celebrity status, it was full of deceit and fakery, there was an abuse of power and it was heavily governed by masculine energy. The new world is moving away from all that (although it won’t leave without a fight).

I can only speculate as to where we are heading, but something I know for sure; we are in times of surrender and release. Before we move into the new, we release the old.

As the old ends, the new comes forth. But we are being kept so distracted. Distractions are all around us. At one level they are to keep people down and controlled, at another, they are there to rouse us to our true potential.

We have to go through the dark to find the light.

Those of us who awakened many years ago did so after a period of difficulties. Often several years of challenges. We are now in a time of moving from one world to another, whilst at the same time being in a quickening where awakenings are happening en masse.

For the Empaths, this can trigger all sorts of strange disturbing sensations. Mental and physical. You will be feeling the uncertainty of the populace as well as experiencing your own ‘shift.’ It will seem like something just doesn’t ‘feel’ right.

Grief or Anger?

These are times of shedding and release. It is letting go of what we thought we wanted, desired or dreamed of. Everything is up for assessment. And that part can be scary as well as inciting waves of grief.

We might associate grief with the passing of a loved one, but grief can also come from losing a life we once knew.

People sense that life will never be the same again. This realization incites grief which also manifests as hurt and anger.

Humans need to express this anger and will find ways to lash out.

As the old saying goes: ‘We are not really upset about what we think.’

There will be more angry outbursts to come. Which is bad but also good.

When we endure extreme difficulties, it is a pathway towards awakening to new possibilities. Awakenings are painful experiences. So is rebirth.

Time to Release

Now is the time for us all to release, unpack and decide what to let go of.

We may have no idea of how our new world is going to unfold, but we should not be waiting for someone else to create if for us, nor keep us tied to the old with painful distractions.

These are times of preparation.

The old ways of doing things no longer fit. It is time to let go. Yes, it is scary. It’s scary because there is no hiding. The times of change are upon us…

We may be in a period of great upheaval and uncertainty, but there are deep transformations happening inside each of us. We are detaching from that which is no longer a fit.

These transformations are personal and individual. It is a shedding and also a revealing.

JUST BE

The old world was very much about doing, forcing, pushing, and living inauthentically. This is the time to JUST BE. And what I mean by that is be your true authentic self. Live honestly. Be in a space of creation with whatever your gift is. Live as though you are creating the new world.

We are in transitional times but also trying times. For some, there will be more miserable uncomfortable periods ahead. It will get ‘darker and darker’ until people awaken to their sovereignty.

Instead of being dragged down into the dark murk, allow yourself to rise above to the surface and float within the calm waters of creation. Decide which world you want to live in and be in that energy!

As always, my advice is to stay away from mainstream media… ‘The air is so much cleaner’ outside its manipulated ramblings. Not giving your focus to the mainstream also means they cannot control and feed off your energy.

If ever there was a time to be amongst the trees and forests, now is it. Nature is so healing and very much at one with the term JUST BE. By tuning into the grounding energy of our beautiful trees, it keeps us in alignment with our higher self.

I will leave you with a poem that I feel is inline with what is to come…

One day when you wake up, you will find that you have become a forest. You have grown roots and found strength in them that no one thought you had. You have become stronger and more beautiful, full of life-giving qualities. You have learned to take all the negativity around you and turn it into oxygen for easy breathing. A host of wild creatures live inside you and you call them stories. A variety of beautiful birds rest inside your mind and you call them memories. You have become an incredible self-sustaining thing of epic proportions. And you should be so proud of yourself, of how far you have come from the seeds of who you used to be.”

THE WINDS OF CHANGE

I hope you are all keeping well in whatever corner of the world you live.

As I write, the winds are blowing noisily outside and have been for the past day or so. I cannot help but be reminded of the saying ‘The winds of change have begun to blow.’

Here in the UK, we are in our umpteenth week of lockdown. I don’t know how you are all experiencing these crazy days of change, but for me, the further into this time of lockdown we travel, the more I feel the world has changed.

I have got this strange sense inside that I don’t think I’ve ever felt before. Kind of like a weird void. Is it a collective thing?

Now, I realise that as Empaths, we cannot help but pick up on how the collective feels. And yes, the emotional energy levels of late have been amped up beyond anything we’ve endured. But what I’m experiencing doesn’t really feel like the usual collective fear thing. It’s more like a ‘transitional vibe.’ I cannot even begin to explain what it is. It’s as though things are coming to a head.

Some years ago, I shared this post about moving into a new world. In it, I discuss the claims of the late Dolores Cannon about our world splitting into two. The video is below. I recommend watching it. But first go to 1 hour and 34 minutes on the clip where, within a 3-minute window, Dolores discusses what we are currently seeing happening now. Bear in mind she died in 2014.

I know, as humans, we are all supposed to be different. We all have different ideals and beliefs. But the way the world is currently living is like existing in two realities at the same time. Those who see the world one way and those who see it another.

It seems obvious that our governing bodies, those who have lied to us and kept us consuming fear, do not want our world to go into a higher vibration. They want to keep us down and distracted. In fear. And they are going to greater and greater lengths to keep us there.

As I have discussed before, fear energy is all-consuming. It is meant to keep us trapped within irrational thought. At one level this has been done in an attempt to keep our vibration low and our mind’s controlled, but at another, for those who are ready, it helps raise us up.

I believe, at the highest level, we are experiencing this lockdown as a way to help us adapt into the ‘new age or new world.’ We have been given time away from busy schedules or social lives to help us go within and see what changes need to be made.

The shift was always going to be uncomfortable. All the past years of difficulties were also part of our preparation for moving from one ‘world’ to another. This may be our opportunity to begin again, but it also comes with it’s own challenges…

The Precipice

Many of you will be experiencing a ‘precipice of pain,’ where things get worse before they get better. This will come in many guises: confusion, worry, fear, anger, you may even feel like you are going a bit mad, and the levels of anxiety are ‘off the charts.’

Anxiety changes the thought process. It can make you feel incredibly confused, alone and isolated.

When I was twenty, I went to work in Greece. During my first week there, I experienced the worst type of anxiety. I went from thinking I was going to die one minute to feeling like I was going mad the next. I was a stranger to myself. The anxiety created waves of dread and fear that impacted my rational mind in the weirdest ways. However, once I got used to my new life and living experience, the anxiety completely disappeared. I then went on to have the best summer of my life.

The point I am making, by sharing this past story, is that the precipice of change can be the loneliest and scariest place to be. But know, if you are experiencing any type of anxiety or fear it will pass.

We are at the darkest hour before the dawn. Suffering can only be expected. But do not suffer alone.

Suffering in silence will help no one. If you are currently struggling, if you feel alone or that your mental health is impaired there are some things you could be doing.

Talk to Someone

If you feel scared, anxious or isolated, talk to someone, a friend, family member or professional. Our world has never experienced ‘this’ before. Although you are certainly not alone in what you are undergoing, as an Empath you may be experiencing emotions more heightened than most. So, don’t suffer in silence.

If you don’t have anyone to talk to, try a therapist. They may not be in their offices, but many therapists are still working with online or over the phone appointments. Getting worries off your chest is incredibly freeing.

Another option is to simply speak what you are feeling out loud. The load will be lifted and I’m sure someone within the invisible realms will be listening. Doing this also helps take any fear energy out of your head.

Get Out of Your Head

In a recent post, I discussed how beneficial finding silence in a world of noise can be. However, for some, finding silence is not the answer. We are all different and, as I’ve said many times before, what works one day might not work the next. If you find yourself stuck inside your head and meditation doesn’t help, you could try the following:

  • Tapping: The Tapping technique is known to help with addictions, chronic pain, insomnia, anxiety and for calming persistent thoughts. It is claimed that by tapping the acupressure points, with your fingertips, it activates your body’s innate healing power and helps calm an erratic mind. See this post for details.
  • Mind Tax: Do something that taxes your mind: crossword puzzles, Sudoku, learn poetry or a language, even for just ten minutes a day. Anything that keeps your mind positively stimulated and distracted will help in preventing your thoughts from going over to the dark side.
  • Activate human growth hormone (HGH): HGH is a hormone that naturally elevates our moods, raises physical energy and keeps the mind in a more positive space. High intensity interval exercise is one of the easiest ways to help the body release HGH. I have attached a link here to a 20-minute HIIT video on YouTube that can be done by most fitness levels. Just be sure to start slow, at your own level, and build up.

Where Are We Being Taken?

Now, I have to be honest and say I do not know what ‘a new world’ will look like for everyone. I don’t think anyone truly does. Perhaps it will be different for each of us. But I choose to believe that we are experiencing the birthing pains of going from the dark into the light. It is something we have to adapt to. Change is never easy.

The winds of change may thrash us around, but, they also blast the old away. And, like everything else that has blown our way, they will pass. Hopefully, when we re-emerge from our ‘shelters’, we get to decide the path we walk and the life we want to live.

THE PROBLEM WITH BEING RED-PILLED

Have You Taken the Red Pill?

In the sci-fi movie, The Matrix, the main character, Neo, gets the choice of taking a red or blue pill. The red pill exposes the reality to which he was born, a world where humans sleep whilst their minds live within a virtual matrix and their energy is used as battery power for machines. The blue pill keeps the real world veiled and his mind trapped under the illusion.

Neo chose the red pill.

‘Taking the red pill’ is a metaphor for having awoken in a world where the masses are still asleep to the truth of their world.

Living in the Matrix

Those of us who have been red-pilled are watching as the masses are dragged deeper into ‘The Matrix.’ Buying into all the crap that has been put out by the mainstream and the governments without question.

Most of you reading this will have will have taken the red pill.

When I was in my teens and early twenties, before I took the red pill, I probably would have bought into the current Coronavirus fear. I may have felt something was off, but I would never have imagined that the governments could have got away with such mass deceptions, or that the world would be so easily fooled into giving their power away.

The problem with being red-pilled is that we are caught up in a world where the blue pill rules which can be isolating. Those still ‘under the blue pill influence’ think those who aren’t are delusional. What is happening now with the Coronavirus is a classic example.

Lockdown or Locked Up?

We have all willingly imprisoned ourselves in our homes over an illness that is being proven to be no worse than a bad year of seasonal flu. We have been told we are saving our health services. But our hospitals are virtually empty.

In the UK they are clapping their way into further loss of freedoms. The clapping isn’t about praising the NHS for their efforts. It is about condoning the government’s actions.

Now, as much as I respect and admire anyone who cares for others or saves lives in their career, I know the clapping isn’t really for those workers. It’s a way of saying, ‘I’m ok with this imposed incarceration. I am ok that perfectly healthy people are being kept from their lives and their loved ones, under the guise that we are protecting a vulnerable health service.’

We are not locked up to protect people. We are supposedly protecting a health service. This lockdown is actually killing people who should be being treated by our health services but aren’t.

If it was known this virus would kill a quarter of the UK’s population, then I would have fully supported the lockdown. But the figures have never suggested this.

People seem to have forgotten that for 80 or 90% of the population, this virus will cause nothing more than a cold or flu. If that. Some people will have no symptoms. It is a small percentage of the populace who will get more serious ailments. This is what happens with cold or flu. Every year it is the most vulnerable at risk from getting serious health complications from flu. And yes, that is still with flu vaccinations.

There are also occasions when those who are ‘seemingly healthy,’ with no underlying health conditions, will succumb to serious health complications, or even death, from the flu. Just like can happen with Coronavirus.

I completely understand the fear of death or the fear of getting ill. Every day, just by going about our lives, we are at risk of death, injury or illness. That is life. We should not take unnecessary risks or put ourselves in harm’s way, but nor should we lock ourselves away for fear of what may come.

When I was a child, I had allergic asthma. Allergens like cigarette smoke, certain animals and chlorine in pools used to trigger an attack. If I ever got a cold or flu it would also result in an asthma attack. I had to avoid going to places that were triggers. I still remember what it was like not being able to breathe. So, I completely understand why it is important to protect those most at risk with underlying health conditions.

But for the healthy majority to be locked away in their homes is insanity.

People are being controlled through their two most powerful emotions, love and fear. Fear that they may get the virus, or pass it on to those they love.

Science Doesn’t Always Know Best

We have been urged to place our faith in science instead of Nature, which I believe is wrong. As well as giving us what we need to survive: air to breathe, water to drink and food to eat, Nature also gave us immune systems to help keep us alive. Our immune systems are there to protect us from virus and disease! This can be done through herd immunity.

If those of us at lowest risk from the virus had not all been locked away in our homes, we could have developed immunity. By having this herd immunity to the virus, we could have protected the most vulnerable. When enough people become immune, a virus generally disappears. Just like the many strains of the common cold that traverse the world each year run their course.

By being locked away in our homes, however, the virus is free to not only grow but also mutate.

If we had not all been put in lockdown and followed the path of herd immunity, we would not be facing years of restrictions and social distancing, an economic crisis and poverty of the likes we have never seen.

Some might suggest that we are indeed practising herd immunity when we visit the shops, but social distancing has been put in place to ‘prevent the spread of the virus.’ Viruses cannot jump 6 feet. So, herd immunity doesn’t happen as fast as it could.

The Cull

This almost seems like a cull of those who are not indoctrinated into ‘the system.’ The first to go are the over 70s. Those whose minds are freest because they grew up in a ‘cyber-free’ world. And no, it won’t be the virus that kills them (although that would be written on the death certificate). It will be the stress, the isolation and despair. People will feel like they have got nothing to live for and their mind will start to break down the body.

Yes, stress kills!

Free Your Mind

It is freeing our mind that sets us free

As Morpheus said in The Matrix movie, ‘The mind makes it real. The body cannot live without the mind.’

In other words, it is the mind that creates our reality.

The mind can make our life hell or it can create heaven on earth (even when under house arrest). If the mind has been caught up in ‘the mainstream matrix’ then it has been controlled by fear.

If the mind, however, is able to switch off the irrational voice of fear, a whole new world emerges. Truths are revealed.

The best way to free the mind is to still the mind.

People were not ready to hear the truth in the early days of lockdown. Which made it difficult for those of us who had been red-pilled to discuss what we could see going on around us. Now, however, people are starting to realise they may never get their freedoms back. This is where we have the opportunity to spread the word.

This is everyone’s chance to wake up and take back their power. We are in times of transformation. Transformations are not always easy but they are full of opportunity.

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU CAN SEE THE RESULT OF THE LOCKDOWN BUT OTHERS CAN’T

If you can see, quite clearly, the likely outcome of this global lockdown, but no one is listening to your concerns, what do you do?

You know how destructive this lockdown is to the physical and mental health of the populace, yet no one wants to hear. You can see that these measures could result in extreme poverty like we’ve never experienced, and you can see that everyone is so blinded by the fear of catching the virus (a virus that causes little more than cold symptoms for the majority), that they cannot see past their anxiety to where the world will end up afterwards.

If you were to ask someone what would they rather: catch a virus that will likely cause no worse than the flu or starve to death? What option do you think they would take? I know I would rather take my chances with the flu.

Starvation is a possible outcome of these lockdown measures that many will face. Extreme poverty, people losing their homes and living on the streets is another. Yes, a harsh reality.

That is not to mention the deaths of all our elderly citizens, locked away in their homes, away from their loved ones. Loneliness and isolation is a killer.

THE BLIND LEADING THE BLIND

It beggars belief that the majority are still in favour of the current lockdown measures, whilst those who are trying to alert the world to its likely outcome are silenced.

When people are seen to defy the imposed lockdown, I have seen comments saying, ‘They don’t think they will catch the virus.’ Or, ‘They are putting everyone’s lives at risk.’ But by advocating the lockdown measures, enforced around the world, it shows that the majority are not looking beyond and are in fact themselves helping to sign death certificates.

A recession of catastrophic proportions is imminent. And recessions have a knock-on effect.

I know people are expecting to go back to the world we lived in before. They believe governments are protecting us all from a deadly virus. Some are receiving money to pay for lost earnings, but this will soon stop. Yet the authoritarian dictatorship will continue. Yes, another harsh reality.

People are refusing to see the illogicality of these lockdown measures. Measures that are both immoral and cruel.

We have a friend who has a brain tumour and is in his last weeks of life. He is in a hospice. No one can visit him. His wife and young son have to stand outside his window. He does not understand why people are not going to see him to say their goodbyes. What difference would it make if he caught the virus now?

My husband’s nan is 94 and went into hospital because she was disorientated. She then contracted Coronavirus. Her condition is deteriorating and no one can go and see her. She will likely die in hospital, surrounded by strangers.

There are hundreds of thousands of other stories like this. Yet people still believe the lockdown measures are the best option.

WHAT DO WE DO WHEN NO ONE IS LISTENING?

When no one is listening to our concerns it may feel like all is lost. But it’s not!

We still have the power to work on ourselves. To raise our frequency.

I discussed in this post how morphic resonance works. How the minority can change the majority. It only takes 1% of us to change the world.

We have to work to stay out of fear, out of anger and frustration. Because if we don’t, this is the energy we send out. We then become part of the problem and not the solution.

Fear is a human weakness. It is the easiest emotion to manipulate. Love may be more powerful, but it is hard to contain when immersed in fear.

THE ENEMY WITHIN

Fear closes the rational mind and imprisons us. We then become our own enemy.

In 2018, I wrote a post (read it here) stating the reason I believe many Empaths have awoken in recent years is to help to raise the vibration of others. Shed light into the darkness. I know it is not easy to do. But festering in anger and frustration only weakens us and keeps the enemy within.

When others cannot think straight because they are shrouded in fear, the only thing we can do is to try and lift the dark energy that has gripped onto their hearts.

Tune into the positive energy that is around us. Believe me, it is there. But we can only access it when we switch off from the hive mind.

I have found chanting Om a fantastic way to do this. Another way is to allow the sunlight to hit your third eye (centre of forehead) for five to twenty-minutes a day.

We can do it. We can take our power back and change the world.

IS THIS THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT?

I hope you are all keeping well during this period of uncertainty.unknown

Considering the bizarre and baffling times we are facing, I have remained optimistic. I would even go as far as to say as ‘uplifted.’ That is not to say I don’t notice the dense layer of fear that is around. As an Empath it is incredibly difficult to IGNORE, but I have chosen to tune it out, by working to stay grounded, and instead basked in the new positive vibrations that also surround us.

You may yourself have experienced this positive energy. At times it almost feels otherworldly and seems to alter perception: The colours in Nature are brighter, the trees and grass are greener, blossoms are more beautiful and abundant, you may even notice flowers you’ve never seen before, and the birds are louder and more joyous in their morning and evening song. Nature is certainly flourishing.

However, although I am choosing to stay within these higher vibrations, I know there are still many caught up in the mass generated fear.

Finding your Power

If you have read my recent posts you may already know I am sceptical of the virus and the intent of this lockdown. I am not in denial of a virus but I feel there is something else going on.

It is not my intention to discuss these subjects here today.

The point I want to get to in today’s post is why the world is in such a state of fear and panic.

In previous posts, I have noted that since 2016 there has been an ugly war of division going on that has been getting worse. Everywhere we look on any media outlets, negative propaganda has been there to greet us, with the sole intention of generating stress, anger and fear. Those who control the media have been going to a lot of trouble to keep us down and distracted. WHY?

When the Coronavirus was initially labelled as a pandemic and the threat of lockdown loomed, the reoccurring thought in my head was why are they keeping everyone in such intense anxiety? Especially when every health expert knows the worst thing for weakening the immune system is fear.

A point that kept coming back to me, was to keep us from uncovering our power.

The End of the World as We Know It?

You may remember that the Mayans predicted the end of the world on December 21 2012. This was the end date of their 5000-year calendar. But, as you know, it didn’t happen. Was this all a hoax? Maybe. But one thing to consider is that the Mayan calendar and our Gregorian Calendar were not devised at the same time.

The Gregorian calendar has been altered over the years. There used to be only ten months and a total of 304 days in a year, compared to the 365 days of today. I am not sure when or if the two calendars were interlinked, so, the real end date for the 5000-year Mayan calendar might not correspond with the Gregorian’s. With this in mind, it would be difficult to pinpoint an exact date. (This article suggests that the real end date is June 21 2020)

Those who studied Mayan prophesies believe their calendar was used to predict times of difficulties, in agriculture for example, and the calendar’s end date was not a prediction of the end of the world but the end of an age.

This ties in with astrology.

Anyone who studies astrology will know, we are moving out of the Piscean Age and into the Age of Aquarius. A time when we each come into our own power.

During the Piscean Age, life was based on the pyramid arrangement. Every structure, from families to religions and governments, had a single being of power on top who was quite often male.

Under this pyramid, everyone had their place and remained in servitude of someone above. The Age of Aquarius is about ‘flattening this pyramid’ and removing those individuals who both held and abused their power. Which also means realigning the balance between masculine and feminine. And, as you know, change is never easy.

I read a fitting analogy comparing moving into a New Age to moving house: No longer comfortable in your living space, you seek a new home, but the chaos of the move creates so much stress and disruption that you question the whole thing. Yet, once settled, the mayhem of the move soon becomes a distant memory.

Everyone Resists Change

Perhaps the world is being kept in such a state of fear because those at the top of the pyramid, controlling the masses, do not want to lose this control and are doing everything in their power to keep us dumbed down, fearful and under their authority.

Darkest Before Dawn

At a higher level, I believe the dark serves the light. We just don’t always see it as it happens. Difficult periods push us towards empowerment, but we still have to put in the work to attain a point of power. It is up to us.

Although these times are incredibly trying, they are intended to wake up the masses and push those who are ready into uncovering their truth. It is a ‘now or never’ time.

This lockdown can serve us in incredible ways. We have all been given time away from the norm. If we use this time wisely, to go within and connect with our true power, we will come out the other side in the ‘right place.’

Raising the Vibration: What Empaths Can Be Doing Now

Whatever your beliefs on the ‘current world situation’, it would seem we are in a time of mass awakening and change as we enter a new age.

Since 2016 we have seen this as a quickening, where a dark theme has been creating a divide between people, keeping tensions high. Hysteria has been at the forefront. We only have to look at Brexit, Trump, the PC culture and gender, race and religion ‘wars’ to see how this has been playing out. Now we have a virus that is not only splitting public opinion, but creating panic and fear of epic proportions.

I noted a few posts ago that emotional reactions have been on the increase, and I feel this has all been part of these changing times. It’s as though approaching ‘the precipice’ has created a clashing energy which has affected people’s mindsets and behaviour.

For the Empaths, and anyone who is super-sensitive to heightened states of emotion, these past years have been difficult to experience. There has been a lot of nefarious energy around, triggering anger, resentments and conflicting opinions.

As you are already aware, when we ‘awaken,’ it is often preceded by times of great difficulty, fear or emotional pain. It is when we face this darkness that we work to seek out the light. The darkest hour is before the dawn.

The Darkest Hour

It would be easy to believe that the world has gone to crap and there is nothing but darkness surrounding us. But when we take ourselves away from the ‘fear energy’ (by avoiding all sources of the media and going within) there is some really powerfully positive energy around. This energy has been concealed by the all-pervading fear.

It is now becoming clear that we are being kept distracted from this powerful energy for a reason. We are in unique times where we can take our power back and create the life we want. A life where we no longer depend on ‘the system.’

The Projecting Empath

Empaths are powerful projectors. We can project our energy signature out onto others.

I realise this trait is not only owned by Empaths, all humans are capable of projecting their moods and energetic vibration. However, it is something that Empaths are particularly ‘good’ at. We are not always aware of just how good we are at projection or how important it is to keep our frequency raised.

What Difference Does it Make?

Have you heard of Morphic Resonance? A concept discovered by Rupert Sheldrake, also known as ‘The 100th Monkey Theory.’ In brief, when a hundred monkeys learnt how to wash potatoes on one island, the monkeys on neighbouring islands and beyond also started doing it without themselves having observed the practice. The 100th Monkey Theory tells us how the behaviour of an entire group of individuals can change when critical mass is reached. This could work either way. If the majority of people are kept in fear, it can impact everyone and make the world a very dark place indeed. However, when enough people raise their vibration it has the opposite affect and takes us into a place of light.

Empaths can help usher in this higher vibration.

If enough of us tap into the positive energy surrounding us, we can project this energy out.

It is up to us to make it happen. We are the ones who hold the keys to the door that will allow this powerful energy in. One of the best ways to do this is through meditation.

Meditation is so important right now. Through stilling our mind and clearing out fearful thought clutter, we are able to not only tap into the truth of our situation, but we can also tune into the powerful energy that has been shrouded by the manufactured fear pandemic.

Meditation also helps with balancing the hormones and strengthening our immunity.

I have been writing in my posts and books for years about the importance of changing diet and lifestyle for those of us who are energy sensitive. Our hormones have been hijacked. Diet, plastics, EMF, and more has thrown our hormones into chaos. This has a knock-on effect not only on our immune system (auto-immune disease has sky-rocketed in recent years), but on our moods and emotions and thus our energetic vibration.

By raising our vibration, it helps raise the vibration of others.

It is after meditating, that our frequency is most elevated, and thus the best time for projection.

I find the best time for meditating is in the morning, as the sun arises and the world around is quiet. Sunset is also a great time.

If ever you wondered what the point of being an Empath was, perhaps this is it. To tune in, take on and project this high vibrating energy. It is no coincidence that so many Empaths have awakened in recent years. We now get to use our ‘gift’ in an incredible way.

If enough Empaths, lightworkers and awakened souls keep our vibration high, we can help raise the frequency of the world. We have a challenge, but isn’t that what life has been so far?

Find Your True Power by Staying Out of Fear

Staying out of fear energy is really important now, and the easiest way to do that is by avoiding the media. We have to actively participate and invest our time in making positive change happen, but I truly believe it will be so worth the investment.

If you are allowed outdoors, spending time in Nature around trees or natural running water is another great way of elevating one’s energy signature. However, if you are in complete quarantine, opening a window and listening to the birds singing in the morning is also super beneficial.

What Does Your Gut Tell You About What Is Happening?

As Empaths, whether you are under ‘house arrest’ or whatever part of the world you live in, you will currently be experiencing a range of strange, often overbearing, emotions.

The global fear energy is like nothing we have ever experienced in our lifetime. Every day will feel different, and you might find your moods change from morning, noon, to night. Moods can range from being angry, pained, frustrated, powerless, trapped, afraid, uplifted, positive or even happy.

The more positive feelings are difficult to hold onto, as the fear energy around us supersedes them.

Irrational Anger

Fear is not the only problem. Anger is rife. People are projecting this anger in different ways. It is similar to road rage, and the slightest thing can trigger it; such as reading something you disagree with, seeing someone behaving inappropriately in regards to the lockdown, watching celebrities in their big houses trying to stay relevant in times when people are suffering… the list is endless. The thing is people are not angry at what they think they are angry at.

Just like road rage, it is not really the actions of others that are responsible for triggering this anger, but the feeling of not being in control.

Fear and anger make people act irrationally (look at the toilet roll hoarding). It often makes us lose our senses. We lose our ability to think critically and we also lose touch with our own intuition.

When it comes to life situations, Empaths normally have very good intuition and our gut feelings are often spot on, but the fear energy that has swept the world is messing with our ‘inner-signals.’

Here in Manchester, every day is different. Since the total lockdown was announced last week, I have felt the pressure of people losing freedoms and being trapped ramping up. Shaping itself into something ugly. The worst contagion here is fear…

We are pack animals who need interactions and freedom. Even those of us who are introvert, need to know we are free to roam and mix. The worry of the virus as well as the loss of freedom is generating a toxic layer of energy.

Which is not surprising. Being locked up is normally a punishment for committing a crime. It is a punishment because it is a form of torture.

If you read my last post, you may know I am sceptical of what is currently happening. I am not a denier of the virus, but it makes no sense to me why we have all been imprisoned for something we are told will cause little more than cold or flu-like symptoms for the majority, and just like the flu, can be fatal to those who are vulnerable.

My gut is telling me something is very amiss. And if I’m honest, I think a good percentage of the population feel something isn’t right, but cannot put their finger on what it is.

Generally, most will fall into three camps. Those who do not question what the government and media are doing and saying about the virus, those who believe the virus must be more deadly than the governments are letting on to be going to such extreme measures, and then there are those like me, who do not believe the ‘supposed’ necessity of this world lockdown and that something more sinister is going on.

Most find it hard to believe that the governments around the world would or could lie to such an extent. We look to our leaders in times like these for reassurance. We want to believe they have our best interests at heart and are truly looking after our wellbeing.

But it is well known the media and governments do not tell the truth. They twist situations to work for their own narratives. The media controls us through fear. The news is designed to be seductive in the way it draws us in and plays on our fear of death.

I have been avoiding mainstream media’s reporting of the situation, but last week I watched a Sky report on Italy. The opening scene was of the camera panning around a room filled with coffins, implanting a message that this will cause our death. The next scene was of a ward of elderly people on breathing ventilators. Harrowing scenes of suffering that ripped into my heart and made me feel overwhelmed with dread. Exactly the desired intention.

Last night I flicked onto the news on BBC, and again I was drawn in by the fear mongering. It somehow changed by way of thinking from rational to illogical. I felt cut off from my own senses. It was almost hypnotic in the way it drew me in and took over my mind.

What Does Your Gut Say?

So, the question I have for you is, as an Empath, what does your gut tell you about what is happening? Does it, for example, contradict what your mind is telling you? Or what governing bodies and the media are telling you? Or could you be sensing what is happening has a higher purpose?

As I mentioned in my last post, I feel something good can come out of this situation. When I tune out of the fear/anger vibrations and into my own intuition, I feel a very positive undertone of energy. It’s as though we are being purposely distracted from it.

I appreciate that it is very difficult to tune into intuition when there is so much overbearing emotional energy around controlling our minds. Taking a couple of days away from watching mainstream media will help with that.

Also, if you find yourself being constantly dragged into the all-consuming fear and anger energy surrounding us, and your usual methods of rebalancing are not working, a good trick to try is sound meditations or chanting Om.

Om is both a visual symbol and a sacred sound or mantra which is incredibly healing when both heard or spoken. The syllable Om is composed of the three sounds ‘A’, ‘U’ and ‘M’ – AUM. ‘A’ is pronounced as an elongated “awe.”

Om sound is said to represent the beginning, the creation of the universe and everything within it. It has been described as symbolising the ‘conscious or waking state’.

Chanting Om is known to:

  • Purify the environment around you by creating positive vibrations
  • Improve concentration
  • Give you better immunity and self-healing power
  • Filter out fear
  • Tune you into your own intuition

There are many other ways in which chanting Om can help right now. But what you will notice when you use it is that it helps drown out irrational fear. By chanting Om for two to five minutes at a time, you will notice how much calmer you feel after and in tune with yourself.

If you are self-conscious of chanting, because you live with others, you can always go on YouTube and listen to a recording with ear phones.

Staying in tune with your own intuition can help you ‘see’ more clearly and keep you out of unnecessary fear.

A Quick Note on the Fear Energy

As an Empath, you are probably feeling all the stress and worry that is currently going on in the world. There are so many scared and anxious people out there. Today, especially, here in the UK there has been a definite increase in the ‘fear energy.’

There is not only the fear of catching Coronavirus, but the fear of losing work, fear for the health of family members and fear of the world not being the same anymore.

I am by no means a Coronavirus denier, I do believe, however, that the fear being ignited is not only unnecessary it is also unfair. We need a voice of reason, yet all we are hearing is the voice of hysteria.

If there’s one thing that will weaken the immune system and make it prone to picking up viruses and other illnesses it is stress and fear.

Even if you yourself are not overly worried about the implications of the virus, you will no doubt pick up on the fear of those around you, whether you are self-isolated or not. Fear travels. Seeps into places. For the Empaths, it is difficult to hide from.

Fear feeds fear.

The first thing that is affected by fear is our breath. It becomes shorter. One of the easiest ways to find instant calm is by taking deep breaths into the stomach and diaphragm. In through the nose and out through the mouth. By allowing the shoulders to drop and the face to relax at the same time will also help.

Aromatherapy oils are also good to use in these fearful situations. Chamomile oil is particularly good to instil calm if you are picking up on stress and anxiety from others. Blend your essential oil with a carrier and either use it in your bath or use it to self-massage.

If you have been quarantined be sure to continue to do some type of exercise. There are thousands of exercise videos on YouTube, suitable for doing at home.

The Destructive Impact the Media has on an Empath

As an Empath, do you feel flat, depressed or outraged after reading newspapers? Do you find your emotions being triggered? Or does your mind become frazzled after spending time on social media or online news outlets?

If you answered yes, you’re not alone. Many Empaths find themselves affected by the streams of negativity filtered out by the media (so much so, many have to avoid them). You’ll probably agree, that in recent times it is getting worse!

These days, there seems to be a never-ending stream of anxiety-inducing stories pumped out by the world’s news outlets, that only serve in causing separation, insecurity, unhappiness or hate (in truth it’s probably always been that way but with online media there is no getting away from it.).

As an Empath, whether you pay attention to the propaganda stirred up by the media or not, you may still be affected by the emotional energy it produces. At times, the energy of which is overwhelming.

We all know the fear mongering, used by the media, is a tactic used to keep people controlled, distracted and divided. There is rarely any information shared that is uplifting, inspiring or ‘feel good’.

It’s as though people are being distracted from their own power… If you keep everyone preoccupied by political opinions, global disasters, wars, and the ‘fabulous lives of the rich and famous’, it keeps people in a low vibrating space.  These types of stories create anger and fear, or they indirectly tell the world that their lives are not good enough or that a life of celebrity is the only way to find happiness and purpose. All of which builds negative energy and conflict!

When conflicts arise, both in the media and out on the streets, a blanket of contagious, dark energy is produced. Which, when at it’s worse, is difficult to avoid, no matter how much you work on staying grounded and protected.

As I mentioned in my last post: negativity generates negativity. Negative emotions are contagious and are subliminally taken on even by those who aren’t Sensitive.

People get swept along by the irrational moods intentionally perpetuated by the media. They breed and feed.  It is a form of gaslighting.

And because the populace is continuously fed more reasons to become fearful, infuriated or dissatisfied, and very little to feel positive and cheerful about, low-level energy continues to escalate.

So, as an Empath, even if you pay little attention to the media or the propaganda it generates, the murky energy stirred up can still leave you feeling overwhelmed, lost or alone. It can seep into your energy field, even during sleep, and its effects may show up as periods of lethargy, low or erratic moods and a sense of disconnection.

As humans, we want to find an explanation for the low moods we experience; and as an Empath, it is easy to blame these dark energies on present life circumstances.

I have already written about this subject in recent months. But as it is a continuing theme, I feel it is right to discuss it again, because of the impact it has on an Empath.

Picking up on dark energy, coming from the masses, is nothing short of exhausting. It is difficult to hide from even with the best intentions.

When affected by ‘global negativity’ it prevents an Empath (and even those not of a Sensitive nature) from staying in their true power. And if distracted from one’s true power, we cannot find the peace, happiness and balance we are meant for.

Part of overcoming the low vibrational energy, constantly stirred up in the world, is to keep mind, body and spirit strong. Eat good food, exercise, meditate, stay grounded and keep clearing your energy field.

Also, if ever there was ever a time to keep your mind empowered now is it. A good way to do this, other than the aforementioned, is by focusing on all your strengths, staying positive and being grateful for the small things.

Look to find your hidden super powers and stay focused on them. Like attracts like.

What we focus our attention on grows. When we embrace our positive inner-power, that power will grow. We then project out this positive vibrant energy out into the world.

The Crossroads of Empath Change: Unplugging from Hysteria

You would have to live deep underground to not have noticed the crazy happenings in society.

Almost everyone has been affected in some way or the other by the engulfing mass hysteria that has swept the world.

It is easy to believe most of the craziness is politically fuelled; yet it is my belief, the real reason goes deeper than that.

The world is not a happy place.

The masses are angry and afraid.

Dogmatism and cognitive dissonance is rife. Freedom of speech, freedom of thought and individuality are being suppressed. And the energy of hate is skyrocketing.

People are being silenced. Most are now too scared to speak out about their true beliefs for the fear of being labelled as sexist, stupid, a conspiracy theorist, a racist, or not politically correct.

It certainly feels like all humans are being manipulated to turn on each other. This is not a recent thing. It has been building for a while and will likely continue for many years to come.

We live in a world going through the quickening of change.

These changes are causing trauma, chaos, emotional pain, depression and more.

Although trauma and upheaval may be considered as emotionally damaging, it can lead to growth and spiritual awareness… if we allow it.

Trauma is the first step we take across the tempestuous waters of awakening. Pain is a prelude to birth.

For some, the initial stages of awakening are seen in random behaviours. Two of these being: denial and blame. In the years to come, you will see this behaviour escalating everywhere. People pointing the finger of blame and convincing themselves their problems lie in the hands of another.

Most are so busy avoiding themselves, and instead lashing out at others, that they miss a unique opportunity for transformation.

Suffering is part of the ‘wake-up call’. People far and wide are hearing the sirens of the awakening, and call to change, but it is their choice how the transition goes.

We can choose to wake-up, evolve and grow, or we can choose to stay in denial.

Denial is the ‘seemingly’ comfortable ‘safe’ passage. At least for a while. But it really just prolongs discomfort.

We can’t ignore evolution forever. If we try, things eventually become so bad that we are forced to change.

All humans are presently being fed fuel to stoke up their raging emotions of anger, bitterness and hate. If we engage them, these types of emotions keep us trapped in mental conflict and away from finding peace and harmony.

Evil begets evil. Hate breeds hate. Anger feeds anger. Fear fuels fear. The more of this type of energy people put out into the world the more it grows.

We all have light and darkness within; both love and hate. Whichever we choose to give the most attention to will be the force that guides our feelings, thoughts and choices. Choose wisely. We are the creators of our own reality.

Strange Things Afoot

It is clear there are some seriously strange things happening in the world. (If you’ve read anything about the Mandela Effect you’ll know what I mean).

There is a lot of positive change happening and many truths are being revealed; but we are also being distracted to prevent us from discovering our own power.

Distraction is a powerful tool. When our mind is preoccupied with all the wrongs in the world, we don’t see what is right. And we don’t notice the powerful positive and uplifting energy that is all around us.

crossroads2We are at the crossroads of change. Being a crossroads means we have a choice of which direction to take. We can choose the path of denial and despair or the one of love and gratitude. That choice is often determined by where we place our focus.

You would think it’s a no brainer to choose the positive love energy. But the more people who focus and send out the hate/fear energy the more this builds and the harder it is not to become embroiled in.

For the Empaths, this low-level energy, that has swept the globe, is agonizing to experience. But it can also be perversely alluring; drawing us in without our realizing.

I too have been lured into engaging the distressing and emotionally provoking news, designed to distract, divide and enrage. And yes, I get wound up by it all. I keep having to remind myself to unplug and stay switched off from it. I know I am wasting my time and precious energy by allowing myself to be distracted.

Some might argue that we have a duty to stay informed, we should fight for our rights and silence is consent. And, as much as I may agree, most of what we are being fed is shameful propaganda, which does nothing but feed our darkest emotions and pains the soul.

When we focus on the incredible force of gratitude and love, it is a game changer. We then see more and more positive come into our life through the law of attraction.

By not giving our attention to anything which feeds negative emotions, we free ourselves

Choosing to stay unplugged is the best form of protection at this time. Especially if you are badly affected by all the hysterical energy.

Here are some excellent ways to stay unplugged and keep your energy vibrant:

  • Stay away from the media: Online news, social media and televised news reports can lure you into negative thinking, frustration and anger.
  • Avoid politics: Don’t get involved in dogmatic discussions and avoid those who seem to thrive when politically venting.
  • Steer clear of large groups of people or protests: Mass hysteria is contagious and drags everyone in, even those with the best intentions.
  • Pursue your passions: Do what you love and be creative as often as you can (your own form of distraction).
  • Express gratitude every day throughout the day: Be grateful for anything you can. A delicious meal, a good book or film, or just the traffic lights being on green. Keep pumping this positive energy out.
  • Keep control of the mind: Meditate or do moving meditations like yoga, Thai-chi or dance.
  • Get outdoors: Spend as much time in nature as possible and bask in natural sunlight.

Pain serves us in mysterious ways. We eventually come to a point when we understand why we endured all we have, and we recognize how our pain shaped and changed us for the better. But we don’t need to keep experiencing it over and over. We have a choice. Now is the time to start shaping your new reality by unplugging from the old.

Why Certain People Acts as a Trauma Trigger for An Empath


adult alone anxious black and whiteContinuing from my last post, today I want to discuss how a person’s residual energy can trigger an Empath.

Residual energy is a trail left by a person’s moods and emotions. It can also be created when a conflict has occurred in a certain place.

How does dark residual energy affect an Empath..?

Well, when left by a person, it can seep into their energy field and influence their thoughts and moods for days after being picked up. Which is obviously a problem if it is negative.

When filled with negative emotions, anyone and everyone can leave a trail of dark lingering energy. But those who affect the Empaths in the most painful ways are the people who act as Emotional Trauma Triggers (ETTs).

A trauma trigger is an event from the past that can trigger a reaction, such as anxiety or fear, in the present. But even residual energy, left by someone who caused you emotional pain in the past ( or those who carry the same energy signature), can become an emotional trauma trigger.

How do you know if someone is an emotional trauma trigger? 

Generally, the mere mention of an ETT’s name is enough to ignite an unpleasant emotional response. But the worst reaction happens when you have spent time with them and their residual energy has seeped into your aura.

Signs you have been triggered:

  • Your mind keeps going back to said person in a negative way
  • You start re-living a long-forgotten injustice from your past
  • You feel uninspired or lethargic
  • It feels like you are experiencing psychic attack
  • You experience waves of bitterness, anger or irritability (when you don’t normally carry those traits)
  • You feel dissatisfied or unfulfilled
  • Your sleep is affected
  • You don’t feel like your usual self
  • You suffer with many niggling physical complaints

Why Empaths Need Protection Now More Than Ever!


You may have noticed I have written a lot about protection, healing or grounding methods, for the Empath, in recent times, and there is a very good reason for this.

There are some major changes/shifts going on that are affecting everyone on many levels. These changes are bringing about emotional disruptions and negative thought patterns.

Generally, when there are major energy shifts, Empaths, and anyone of a Sensitive nature, gets energetically clobbered from all directions.

If you feel like you are going seriously cuckoo, with all the emotions you are processing, it is probably a good time to pull out your ‘protective-tools arsenal’ and start experimenting with different techniques. How an Empath can Differentiate Between Energy Shifts and People’s Energy

We live in an ever-changing world.

Changes happen for people every day.

Most Empaths come to learn how to navigate the moods and changes in the energy of others! However, when there is a huge energy shift in the world, some may find themselves struggling.

The problem is, an Empath may not know how to differentiate between experiencing a ‘shift in the global energy’ between their own emotions or other peoples’ emotional energy. So, let’s have a look at how these energy shifts impact us:

Rewiring and rebooting are words used a lot within ascension or new age circles as an expression of how we are affected by energy shifts, and, during these times, I feel those two words could not be more appropriate.

Intense energy shifts can lift us up or bring us crashing down. They often trigger anger, frustration, depression or incredible joy.

There are some other ways in which these energies may have affected you physically and emotionally and here’s a sampling:

Feeling wired with an intense rush of power pulsing through your body:

This fizzy-type of energy cannot be mistaken, it pretty much leaves you feeling like you have been charged up with electricity. And although you may feel mentally or physically tired, this buzzing energy can keep you awake at night.

Brain fog:

Poor memory recall and a fuzzy head seems to be the norm in recent years; but when there’s a shift do not be surprised if you feel more scatty than normal.

Intense emotional ups and downs, very bi-polar in nature, or being hyper-sensitive:

It may seem like I’m stating the obvious here, because for Empaths it is normal to feel strong emotions, yet these emotions/sensations are not like the normal ones we experience. They come out of nowhere and range from anger to blissful happiness.

You may find yourself waking up in a bad mood, with no reason, or little things that would not normally bother you suddenly have you riled. Then you may find yourself feeling happier than you ever have.

We are also getting the backlash of others’ strong emotions. Many people are now being activated or affected, as I have said many times before, it can be very easy to lay claim to another’s emotions and build them into our own life-story.

Having zero tolerance for selfish or self-pitying behaviour and drawing a line under past dramas:

You may have previously been able to put up with another’s self-centred ways, but now find yourself quickly backing away from dramas.

You could have come to a point where you will no longer put up with bad behaviour, nor allow others to pull you down. You have decided enough is enough!

This is not by chance. It’s as though we are disconnecting from all the irresolvable dramas and family or friendship feuds that we had in our past, not wanting them to have any part in our future. And there are very good reasons for this:

You have very likely been on this path for many years; and during this time you have dealt with your emotional wounds, whilst others around you looked on or had no idea what you were enduring. In recent times, those others are now going through these changes. It is their turn to process and deal with their emotional wounds.

So, if you find yourself walking away or distancing yourself from family or lifelong friends’ dramas, selfish behaviour or other, it is your internal knowing, stopping you from getting involved.

If you find past issues stirred up, that you had long since forgotten or already dealt with, it is very likely because they have been triggered within a friend or family member, as part of the energetic shifts, and you are picking up on them. This may have further pushed you away.

For Empaths, walking away from those in emotional turmoil is not something that comes naturally. It may seem somewhat cruel or aggressive. But you are not being cruel by not engaging in ‘their stuff’, it is simply not yours to deal with. They have to do it for themselves.

This is very much a DIY process!

Changing one’s diet and lifestyle:

Another sign of energy shifts is wanting to change one’s lifestyle. An example of this would be giving up foods, drinks or habits that do not promote all-round health, happiness and wellbeing.

Most Empaths make gradual changes to their lifestyle over the ‘awakening years’, but when there’s been a shift, all the pieces start clicking together. You find a diet or exercise plan that works to heal your body, mind and spirit, and you want to stick with it.

Ready to take the leap:

You may also suddenly feel very ready to make big changes: in your career, social life or habitat. You find yourself doing things you have wanted to do, but put off for years.

It’s as though the past self-doubts that previously held us back, no longer have the same hold. But, we also know we’ve got to meet our new life half-way and that means stepping out into the world to bring it forth.

These are just some of the ways you may have experienced the shifts and I’m sure there will be many others too, not listed here.

But one thing is for sure: if we are to truly evolve in life we cannot have the old dramas (people, jobs, lifestyles) dragging us back down.

Energy shifts help us evolve, and although they may be uncomfortable, they help take us to all the right places.

The Impact of Solar Flares on Empath Emotions

Well, it’s been a while since my last post, over 2 months. I spent the latter half of November and most of December in India doing my yoga teacher training (which was the most amazing, albeit challenging, experience). And as I don’t tend to fare well in the dark, winter months in the way of motivation, I have not had the inclination to put fingertips to key board since my return. 

However, I thought it important to write a post this week because of the adverse effects the solar flare, which hit earth last Tuesday, has had on myself and those around me. It’s knocked me right out of my groove and I’m sure it’s doing the same thing to countless others who aren’t aware of solar storms and their effect on humans, hence this post.

I first noticed something was amiss on Sunday evening with the arrival of some turbulently vexed emotions, but hadn’t linked them in with the solar flares until yesterday.

Tues and Weds were the worst days, they were pretty unbearable. Here’s a list of  some of the symptoms I endured:

  • pressure in the head and ears, and headaches
  • excessive thirst
  • body/muscle soreness, similar to flu symptoms
  • disturbed sleep
  • exhaustion coupled with exhilaration
  •  irrational anger
  • intense grief
  • depression

On Tuesday the symptoms got so bad I was starting to question my sanity. My emotions were swinging from rage to feeling like I was in mourning. I didn’t know what to do with them or where to place them. And I wasn’t buying into it being about issues/emotions from my past that I’d not dealt with. The emotional and physical maladies weren’t showing me anything, they were just there. I had no control over what I was feeling and they were unlike usual social ’emotions’.

Nothing I tried shifted them or lightened the load: yoga, meditation, walking in nature, etc. I was baffled by it all, until I noticed on the news that the largest solar flare since 2005 had hit the earth on Tuesday 24th and it gave me an ‘aha’ moment in that this had to be the reason I had gone completely cuckoo for 2 days.

My mind went back to the information I’d come across last year on Mitch Battros’s website: http://www.earthchangesmedia.com – on how the solar flares can affect humans, emotionally and physically. I remembered that I’d previously been affected by them (although not to this extent).

Battros has worked alongside Mayan elders and done much research on Mayan predictions and the effects of solar activity. His scientific research along with ancient text documents suggests the ending of the Mayan Calendar may very well be connected to solar activity, it shows that charged particles emitted by the Sun in the way of solar flares, CME’s and coronal holes are the cause of extreme earth changes such as earthquakes, volcanoes, hurricanes, and tornadoes. It also indicates the very same magnetic flux which affects the Earth, also affects humans, in that the magnetic field which surrounds the Earth is similar to the magnetic field which surrounds every living thing.

Equation:          Sunspots => Solar Flares (charged particles) => Magnetic Field Shift => Shifting Ocean and Jet Stream Currents => Extreme Weather and Human Disruption (mitch battros 1998).

So, there we go, something to for you to ponder. If you’ve come across this post, chances are you may have been affected by the solar flares. And the more sensitive you are the more you’ll have had to endure. We’re probably going to be in for a very bumpy ride this year, if this flare was anything to go by, as it’s expected we’ll be getting more, much more and it would seem there is nothing else to do but accept that this (and all the other crap we’ve been through) is a by-product of The Shift and see where it takes us. I think the best thing we can all do is: slow down our thoughts through meditation, exercise, get out in nature, drink plenty of water and eat well… and, probably most importantly, keep the faith.
